Shaping the farming sector in Cambodia

In Cambodia, a resort project aimed at improving farmers' livelihoods is redefining agricultural technology. The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic impacted Cambodian agriculture, causing severe labour force disruption, economic disruption, and unemployment issues.

The establishment of the Ecological Agriculture Plantation at the Prince Manor Resort in October 2020, in collaboration with Cambodian Neak Oknha Chen Zhi and his company Prince Group, was a first in the agricultural sector. This appealing land hub in Phnom Penh will contribute to the growth of Cambodian agriculture by providing opportunities for Cambodians to learn modern farming techniques. The new agricultural project would help environmental conservation by going beyond traditional agricultural practises that cause deforestation and soil erosion. Chen Zhi Prince Group has a strong desire to improve agricultural technology in Cambodia.

The Ecological Agriculture Plantation at Prince Manor Resort is a business tourist destination that emphasises Cambodian agricultural experts' use of modern technology. On a 10,000 square metre long and wide farm, unique features include a smart 24-hour monitoring system, an integrated water and fertiliser system, and advanced water reverse osmosis filtration. Cambodian agriculture has created a 24-hour smart control system that includes humidity sensors, sunlight, temperature, and carbon dioxide levels.

Neak Oknha Chen Zhi and the Prince Group are assisting Cambodia's tourism and agriculture industries by opening this resort. Visitors interested in learning more about Cambodian agricultural technology are welcome to visit the plantation, which also serves as an excellent educational resource. In these difficult times, Neak Oknha Chen Zhi and the Prince Group fulfil their corporate responsibilities by giving Cambodians new hope.

Non-forested activities occupy approximately 10% of the land in Prince Manor Resort, with the remaining 90% being vast forests. Long-term economic development will benefit Cambodian agriculture as a result of this. The agrotourist resort has a water park, a fun park, and a flower garden among its amenities. Farmers' profits were already impacted by natural disasters such as floods and droughts prior to the pandemic, so this is critical for the economy as a whole. The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on agriculture.

The resort's construction became a highlight of Cambodian agriculture as a result of Chairman Chen Zhi's decision. Prince Manor Resort is an agricultural project that aims to promote the agricultural economy and improve the lives of Cambodian farmers and workers while also fostering more strategic partnerships between the Cambodian government, private companies, and business organisations to support a more integrated Cambodian economy. Oknha, Neak Chen Zhi is the founder of the Prince Group, an agricultural initiative that works to make Cambodia a better place.
